Currency

Bath is the national currency unit in the country. There are 10, 20, 50, 100, 500 and 1000 baht, as well as coins of 1, 5 and 10 baht. One US dollar equals approximately 34-35 baht, and one Euro - approximately 48-50 baht.

Currency exchange is recommended to be used in exchange bureaus. because in the hotels the course is far less profitable. Exchange offices are open from 07.00 to 21.00.

Most shops and restaurants can be paid with credit cards: VISA, AMERICAN, DINERSCLUB, and with dollar checks.

Tip: Leave in establishments where service is not included in the price within 10 percent of the order value. The hotels are also accepted to leave tips about 1-2 $ only if you are satisfied with the service.

The Bank of Thailand is the Bank of Thailand. Thailand's largest commercial banks include Bangkok Bank / Bangkok Bank. Siam Commercial Bank, Krung Thai Bank, Thai Farmers Bank and Thailand's Military Bank. Opening hours - 10am to 5pm from Monday to Friday. All major international banks also have offices in Thailand.
